But new breakthrough technology has given new hope to acne sufferers. The revolutionary new phototherapy machine, Acnelight, offers an alternative to combat this most common and stubborn of skin problems. It is effective in reducing the appearance of current acne, and preventing further break outs.
The machine uses intense blue light to penetrate safely and effectively into the skins tissue, just deep enough to reach the bacteria that cause acne. It then targets and eliminates these bacteria. The treatment is best for mild-to-moderate acne on any part of the body, including the face, neck, back, chest or shoulders.
A typical session lasts for 20 minutes, of which you lie comfortably underneath the light. A program of 8 sessions, 2 each week for 4 weeks, is recommended.
